What makes our investment fees different?

South Africa’s first fixed fee structure

The ONEfee model is a fixed investment fee, meaning that when your investment is worth between R354 000 and R1 180 000, we cap your investment fees at R5 310p.a.

*This fee will escalate in line with inflation every year and excludes taxes (including Securities Transfer Tax). We do however include the estimated impact of Securities Transfer Tax in all our estimates of your total investment cost.

Transparent and easy to understand

Traditional investment companies disclose your fees as a percentage. But with OUTvest, you'll see your total fee displayed on your statements in Rands and cents.

The OUTvest ONEfee doesn’t make you pay more when you invest more.

With percentage-based investing, your investment charges increase the more you invest. But that's not the case with our set investment fee.

At R354 000, your investment fees become fixed at R5 310p.a. and stay fixed until the total investment is worth more than R1 180 000. You’re then only charged 0.45% of the value of your investment.

Ask for your EAC from your investment provider

Do you know how much investment fees cost you? Your ongoing investment charges are typically split into 4 investment fees - your Total Investment Cost (from your investment fund), Administration Fee, Advice Fee and “Other”. This can make it tough for you to see the amount your investment costs you.

In order to see the combination of all those investment fees, you can ask your investment provider for your Effective Annual Cost, or EAC for short.

This gives you a more accurate way of comparing our investment fees to another investment provider's fees.
